I am 3.5 years old Today!
Look at how happy I was with my favourite Dora!

Mimi lamented that it has been a long while since Papa and Mimi post “long posts” of updates of Didi and me. In recent months, it was “pictures more than words”! LOL!
Mimi told me that one main reason is because Papa and Mimi have to take care of both Didi and I. Didi is still young and requires a lot of attention. Mimi will try to spend more time with Didi while Papa will try to devote his time to me. Though I may not require the delicate care like an infant, I can be demanding in term of requesting Papa to read, write and play with me! Mimi realized that I am a “Papa girl”. This is probably because I realized that Mimi needs to spend more time with Didi. I will not sleep at time without Papa! He has to “pat” me and sleep next to me before I go to bed! LOL!
Papa and Mimi will try to spend quality time with us before we sleep. That’s not the end of the story… Papa and Mimi have resisted the notion of domestic help. Hence, they will have to do the household chores after we are in bed!
Recently, Papa has moved on to a new role in another organization for professional development. Papa told Mimi it was challenging in the initial weeks because he has to start from scratch. He relish the opportunity and believe that he can assimilate well into the new organization! Papa! Jiayou! This is another reason that you see lesser and shorter posts on Didi and my blog! Papa told me that he appreciates Mimi’s help at home (Mimi is still on maternity leave) while he is undergoing the transition in the new organization. Another upcoming challenge is in 2 weeks; Mimi going back to office! LOL! Mimi! Jaiyou!
An update of myself in the past months! I am officially a 3.5 years old girl now! I started full day childcare since January this year. I was able to adapt well because I had been in the half day program in the same school. However, the challenge was I kept falling sick in the first two months! I was down with a persistent cough that last for almost 2 months, coupled with fever occasionally. I am doing well now. Papa and Mimi are keeping the fingers cross and is boasting my general immunity with cod fish oil and Vitamin C. I started taking Mimi breast milk about 3 weeks ago too. It was “by chance” that Mimi gave it to me on one occasion. She offered to me jokingly and I really accepted it. Papa laughed it off that she is taking it now because she had refused to take it when she was an infant. I called Mimi’s milk; “Power milk”. Mimi hope that it will also help to boast my immune system.
I am definitely more vocal and demanding now. I will insist to choose my clothes before shower. I am also picking up some undesirable behaviour at times. Papa realized that it is part of growing up and take it in his stride. He corrects me whenever I do it and explains to me the undesirable consequences. E.g. throwing tantrums when Papa refused to give me sweets when I made a request. Papa will explain to me that it is unhealthy to take excessive amount of sweet because I will fall sick.
