Papa's Graduation Ceremony!

Yeah! I am also a graduate! Hehe... I refused to return the mortar board to Papa!

Time flies, Papa told Mimi that he started the MBA program about 3 years ago in July'07, two months before I was borned. He completed the courswork and thesis in slightly more than 2 years. He had opted for the "accelerated mode" compared to his peers because he want to "shorten his pain", work harder and suffer for a shorter stint.

I am now a big girl, turning three years old soon! He could still remember those late nights when he had to do his assignments after coaxing me to sleep, an incident where I torn Papa's lecture notes into two, times when I knocked hard at the door when Papa locked himself in the room during examination period etc. He could not help but laughed while sharing it with Mimi. :P

Papa’s Birthday!

It was Papa’s 33rd birthday on April 9, last Friday! We had buffet steam boat with sea food, meat, vegetables, sushi etc served on “conveyor belt" (Japanese style) at a new restaurant near our house. Hmm.. but Papa and Mimi felt that it was not within the expectations and still prefer our usual favourite one at Hougang Green.

We Like Cheesy Bit Pizza!

Nowadays, I have “my say” for choice of dinner too! :P
Last weekend morning, I picked up a promotional pizza leaflet slipped under our door and went running to Papa!

Qi: Papa, pizza! Pizza!
Papa: “Do you want pizza for dinner?”
Qi: Yes!
Papa: Mimi?
Mimi: OK!
Papa: OK!

I played my part and reminded Papa a few times that I want pizza during the day. Hehe..

Yummy! I like the new crunchy chessy bites pizza! Papa and Mimi love it too because we like cheese! You should give it a try if you are a “cheese lover” too! Where is my chicken wing? Huh…sob sob.. Papa and Mimi finished it before I realized it.

Polliwogs Fun!

Papa and Mimi were on annual leave last Thursday and Friday for an extended long weekend. They decided to bring me to “Polliwog”, a popular indoor children playground along East Cost.

Thanks Auntie Emily for the recommendation! It’s a great place for toddlers! Yeah! I spent more than 3 hours at “Polliwog”. Papa and Mimi could see that I really enjoyed myself a lot. We reached there at about 1pm and left almost at 4:15pm. I was busy running up and down the playground with Papa busy chasing behind me. I also tried the outdoor playground castle too albeit it was Papa who dragged me literally there. E… but I do not really like it (Papa said that I was timid to “jump up and down high”.

I still refused to go home after 3hours of play and kept playing up the excuse “3 more minutes” umpteen times. Papa and Mimi have to literally “pull” me out of the playground.

While Papa was delegated the task to take care of me, Mimi took a break and relax at the in house café sipping hot coffee, enjoyed sandwiches amid reading the female and parenting magazines available in the café. There are even toddles game machines and a computer that offers free internet access in the café. There is also an alfresco dinning area. Wow… We had been to other indoor playground. Mimi likes “Polliwog” the best.

(We had to spent $3/pair to get the socks because we forgot to bring it)

Papa was happy to find a new outlet of his favourite claypot rice restaurant, Uncle Sam at City Square Mall. Its main outlet is located in Shenton Way, near Papa’s old office. Yummy! Papa told Mimi that he missed those “good old audit days” with his peers but definitely not the long working hours. Haha…
