Let me adjust it so that it is more comfortable! Yeah! We were on our way to Ah Ma’s house for reunion dinner after my weekly class. Reunion dinner (i.e. "tuan yuan fan" - 团 圆 饭)is a must for Chinese New Year where all family members gather together on the eve of New Year for dinner.
It was time to get busy after reunion work. Eleventh hour work before the New Year kicks it at 12midnight! I am a good girl. I helped Papa to fill up our rice container to the brim. It’s a auspicious because it ensures that we will have plentiful to eat and "excess" (i.e. wealth).
Putting up the decorations two hours just before the midnight! :P
I like the cheery kids with the “fu” (i.e. fortune). Huat ah!
