Qi is 28 Months Old Today! Papa and Mimi Have Been Together for 11 years!

Qi is 28 months old today! I attended my first lesson at Lorna Whinston@ United Square today too. Mimi noticed that I had a good experience for my 1st lesson! To Mimi's suprise, I was rather "timid" during the class. Hehe...

One of the activities required us to speak out some words individually to the class. Hehe.. I managed to do it! Teacher Anna emphasised that few objectives of the lessons include moulding us to be confident to speak to a group of people and be cultivate the habit of good listening during story-telling and understanding instructions.

Mimi: "Do you like the class?"
Qi: "Yes!"
Mimi: "Do you want to come again next week?"
Qi: "Yes!"

Papa and Mimi also celebrated their 11 years of union as a couple today. They became a couple on 2 Jan'99. We went to Ellenborough Market Café at Merchant Court Hotel to celebrate the occassion! Papa and Mimi simply love the "durian paste". However, Papa and Mimi felt that the spread and quality of the international buffet could be better for a five star hotel. They still prefer the food at Aqua Marina @ Marina Mandarin Hotel.

Qiqi enjoyed the marshmallow and fruits dipped in chocolate fondue!

Papa and Mimi finally decieded to get a DSLR camera today too! They had toyed with the notion for about 1/2 year because of the steep price. In fact, our existing Sony Cybershot and Canon Coolpix cameras which boast up to 10 megapixels are still doing us well. The other downside is the slow shutter speed that frustates Papa and Mimi when they take photograph of me. Babies and toddlers like me "moves a lot"! :P

Papa bought the Canon DSLR E500D, a 15 mega-pixel camera that is also equipped with movie recording feature (it will come in handy when Qi performs at concerts after I start my nursery class). It was a good deal; the package came with two 8GB memory cards, two batteries, a bag, a tripod, screen protector, a dry box, cleaning kit and two manuals.

Yeah, Papa and Mimi can take even nicer pictures of me! Papa has delegated the task of attending the compliementary basic photography course conducted by Canon, reading up the manual and user guide to Mimi. She is supposed to pick up the skills and teach Papa. This is because Papa admits that Mimi is more adapt at "hands on stuff" than him. :P

Gugu and Gu-change also bought the same Canon camera. Great minds think alike. :P We bought it together at the same shop. Xuan-jie and Kai-didi must be very excited too!
