My Personal Toddler Car Seat!

Papa & Mimi bought a “Maxi Cosi”, a European brand, toddler car seat for me over the weekend from Baby Hypermart @ Kaki Bukit. According to Papa, though he found the price a bit steep, he will not compromise on my safety and comfort. It is the same model as Xuan-jie toddler seat. Gugu had also given good feedback on the car seat. Papa said that be a good investment because my siblings could use it in the future too. :)

We did consider a “baby booster”. However, it is not as comfortable especially if I were to sleep in the car. In fact, I struggled to “break free” when I tried it in the hypermart. According to the salesperson, based on my built, I should be able to use it up to four years old before I get a “booster seat”.

Qi is Happy!

We went on our first grocery shopping trip to FairPrice Extra @ Hougang Festival Market in our car.

Yeah! We are lucky today! We managed to get a kiddy ride with a “proper” steering wheel for me to “drive” along! The other kiddy rides available are “spoilt without the steering wheel”.

We bought 5 tins of 1.8 kg tins Gain IQ at Fairprice Extra. It is a good deal because for every $250 of purchase of Similac products at Fairprice, there is a $40 Abbott voucher redeemable at Fairprice. In addition, there are member rebates (4%) and linkpoints. It was a good buy! Mimi intend to buy more to “stock up” on our next trip. The promotion ends on 31 Oct'09. Hehe..

Mimi is very happy because my speech development has spurted after I turn 2. I am picking up and speaking more words! Papa has a challenge; to build up my very limited speech development in Mandarin.

Our Favourite Steam Boat!

After our tiring grocery shopping, we went for our favourite “yuan yang” (tom yam and chicken herbal soup) steam boat @ Hougang Green.

Papa and Qi’s favourite crispy carrot cake with pork floss! Papa likes it best after it is dipped in nice sweet chilli! Of course, I like it without chilli! :P

Taking a sip of the “champagne grape” drink from my Dora water bottle! I had insisted on drinking from the glass. Papa filled up my bottle instead because he was afraid that I would break the glass. :P

My first visit to the same restaurant when I was about 8 months old! Hehe… I was a little fatty! :P

Brushing Teeth!!

Mimi started brushing my teeth with a toothbrush since I was about 1 year old. It has become my daily habit to brush my teeth to maintain good oral health. Papa said it is imperative to build good habits and values from a young age. Mimi hope to train me to brush the teeth myself when I am about 3 years old.

Papa told me that if I do not brush my teeth, it will “attract ants”. Ee… really?

My new Pooh bear series toothbrush that comes with “an angular brush”! Cute! Mimi likes the new toothbrush because it is "easier to reach" the teeth.

I Don’t like Hot Stuff!

We were at Bali Thai for dinner to “satisfy” Mimi’s urge for “hot and spicy” tom yum soup! I like the crackers! But suddenly I burst into tears after I put a small piece of crackers that was dipped in the sweet chilli! I thought it was ketchup! Sob! Sob! Papa! You should have warned me! Papa told Mimi that it is funny because both of them like chilli a lot. Hmmm..but it seems like I cannot even take chilli!

Appetizers! I shouted for “soup soup” when I saw the tom yum soup. Mimi warned me; “Qi! Hot! Hot!”. I got the message! Ee… Mimi was very; she had a big bowl of tom yum noodles!

Fun@ Ikea!

We collected our car last Friday! :) Papa and I went in our new car to fetch Mimi from work! I was a good girl; sat in the car seat @ enjoying my cartoon on my PSP. Papa and Mimi are glad that it will be more comfortable and convenient on our family weekday night and weekend trips now!

We went to Ikea for dinner and shopping! I have to “fill up” my stomach before I go “chiong” Ikea!! Yummy yummy! I like the "Bakerin" cake that Kerin jiejie had bought for us.

I like this orange chair! I can even cover myself up. :P



Wow…nice bed! Papa, when can I get my own big bed? Papa promised me that it will be “very soon”. Yeah!

Water Fun @ T3 Airport!

Wow! This is fun! I was trying my best to “catch” the water that “comes out intermittently” at times. Look at how happy I am! Toddlers at my age are always curious when it comes to new things. Cheers…

Nice Chicken Wrap!

We visited a small cafe at Hougang bus interchange that was recently featured in "Buzzing Cashier 2 抢摊大行动2" program on Channel 8 last weekend.

We ordered the chicken wings, fries and the chicken wrap. It looked good. Let me try.. :P

I like the fries. Papa and Mimi felt that the chicken wings were "nice but normal" and slightlt overpriced at $1.50/piece. But they like the chicken wrap.
