Mummy got some new books for me from an on-line spree which is about 30% cheaper than recommended prices. The books are also not readily available in retail outlets!


Small Books from Irene Gugu who bought it at “Growing Fun”! It has really big and colourful, pictures and words to capture our attention!

Winnie the Pooh series story books! Mummy said I have to grow older before I could appreciate it. :P

It's Yakult Time!

My favourite Yakult time! Or rather it is “Vitagen Less Sugar”. However, I like to call it Yakult because it is easier to call it, “Yakult”! Papa restricts it to only one bottle every two days. I am a good girl and will even share the healthy drink with Papa and Mummy. I will finish ¾ of it though. Hehe… :P

Mummy said it is a healthy drink because it contains probiotic cultures for a healthy digestive system, prebiotic fibre that helps support growth of good bacteria to maintain a better intestinal environment and the “Less Sugar” meets the nutritional guidelines of the Health Promotion Board as a healthier choice

It was dancing time!

On our way in the car for family dinner last weekend to celebrate “Father Day”! Yeah!

Mummy got a cute Mickey Mouse cover for her Nintendo DS. Due to my influence, Mummy and Papa have also become fans of Mickey Mouse. Out of the teddy bears that I have, Mummy can clearly see that I practiced favoritism; I love to hug and kiss Mickey Mouse the most! :P

Growth Story Update @ 21+ Months!

Ee..it does not taste good at all.. but why do Papa and Mummy enjoy durians so much? Papa tried to give me another bite but I simply refused to have it anymore.

Times flies... I will be 2 years old in about three months time! Papa and Mummy told me that they really enjoy my growth story to be a “big girl’.

I have attended my weekly Saturday GUG class for about half a year. Papa observed that I enjoy my weekly class of story telling, singing, art & craft and music class. Credit goes to my English teacher, Russell and Chinese teacher “Lao Shi” are passionate about coaching young toddlers like me. However, I will stop the class by end of the month. I will be attending daily playgroup class of 2hours daily next month instead. Hence, Papa and Mummy feel that I should attend other enrichment class.

My new school is about a 10 minutes walk from my house. Papa and Mummy decided that they will only be comfortable to allow me to take a bus ride to school which are further from our house after I turned 3 years old. Papa is looking into signing me up for other weekend class instead such as drama class and memory building classes.

Mummy observed that I am getting more inquisitve, expressive and has added many new words to my vocabulary. I am definitely more vocal and determined to get the things that I want. E.g. shouting “help me” when I need help to carry my box of flash cards, pulling Mummy by the hands to the refrigerator and shout “Yakult Yakult”, taking up a book and say “read read”.

My day will never go without my favourite Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Winnie the Pooh series, Sesame Street, Wheels on the Bus series, Dora series cartoon etc. My latest addiction is Word World! I literally refuse to leave with Papa last week, watching the preview at Popular Book Store. Yeah! Papa managed to get the DVDs from his colleague. The series are really interesting with cartoon figures featured as words. Mummy also bought “Wink & Learn” educational Chinese discs for me to ensure that I am equally comfortable with our “Chinese roots”. She does not want me to be a “English potato”.

I have also shown my prowess in terms of my mobility skills. Hehe...Before you know, I will be on top of the bench, running towards the playground with a split second etc. Hehe.. Papa complained to Mummy that it is a challenge nowadays to keep me within sight at shopping malls. My favourite word if I take a hit / fall, “Pain Pain”. :P

My New Mickey Mouse Book!

Mummy said that I simply idolize Mickey Mouse! I will pester my Ah Ma who takes care of me while Papa & Mummy are at work, for “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” cartoon every day! I mean I really pester and wail if she does not oblige me. :P

Yeah! Papa bought me some news books; “Look before your leap” Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and “A Perfect Day” Winnie the Pooh series!

I cannot help it but to take a glimpse while having my dinner!

One of my favourite haunt after dinner @ Compass Point, arcade.. the drums! Papa will always drag me away after a while because he said that the environment is too loud for a toddler. Preparing to practice my drum… one.. two.. three..

Enqi Likes Playing with Papa’s Ties!

One of my favourite "hobbies" is to open the wardrobe, check out Papa’s ties and put them over my neck! Hehe.. and whenever Papa sees it, he will go shouting… Qi! What are you doing? Do not play with my ties!

While Papa was having his shower, Mummy took the opportunity and decided to help me put on a tie. Do I look smart with the tie? :P

Papa Is Preparing for Exam!

I look forward to playing with Xuan jie on weekends @ Ah Ma’s house. Sos sob… we did not meet Xuan Jie this weekend because Papa has to prepare for the last examination paper for his MBA program in the coming week. Almost there Papa! Jia you! You have completed two years and six more months to go. Mummy told me… only one “small thesis” of 20,000 words to submit in the second half of the year and you can graduate!

What? Upon hearing it, Papa lamented that it is a big headache. It is 20,000 words and not 2,000 words. Hang on Papa! We are behind you! Good Good luck! Cheers!!

Xiao shu shu Kelvin is in Taiwan again for army exercise. He will only be back three weeks later. Xiao shu, my Papa asked me to remind you to have fun.. and be careful too! Ok? See you soon.. remember to get some cute things for Xuan jie and me! :P Joking lah... Enjoy..

My Art Piece Was Featured!

Yeah! My art piece that I made during my class about two weeks ago was "featured" in my school, GUG’s notice boards. Credit goes to Mummy who played a key “supporting” role! Or rather I played a key “supporting” role!
