Bye 2007! Welcome 2008!

It’s the last day of the year 2007 and Enqi will have my first New Year celebrations! It’s going to be fun! I am going to catch up with Janelle (with Uncle Anthony & Aunty Dione) and Hannah (Uncle Yung Keat & Aunty Drizzle), babes borned in the 2007, just like me @ New Year Eve and New Year Day respectively!

Hope everyone will have fun for the upcoming New Year! Cheers… Papa shared with Enqi his thoughts on the last day of the year…

Time flies, it’s another New Year. It was the only two of us on the same day last year. It’s really a blessing to have you, Princess Enqi as our daughter now! Our life is even more beautiful now!

Now that we are parents, we appreciate our parents even more; the unconditional love that we have received from them over the years and even now! Thanks for everything, “The Ang & Tan” Papa & Mama of Papa Alan & Mama Grace…Not forgetting Papa Alan’s Grandma who had showered him with care since he was a baby.

Mama Grace, it has been an exciting and yet challenging year for you, went through the process of motherhood and became Mama Grace in September. Ah dear, thank you for being an understanding, caring & wonderful wife, and mother! I love you and Qiqi, sunshine of my life!

Enqi, our dearest little Princess, you must be a good girl huh…must learn to be more patient in the new year ahead! If not, Papa will “span” your little bum bum!

Papa Alan had a very exciting year too! Most importantly, he became proud Papa of Junior Qi, commenced his further studies and moving on to a new career role in Jan’08 within six months @ second half of 2007.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all our family members, relatives and good friends who are always there for us and have helped us in one way or another during the past year.

A simple wish again for the New Year; Everyone be blessed with good health and great happiness for the New Year ahead. Enjoy! Cheers!

Christmas Bash @ Eve!

It’s the Four Musketeer’s tradition to have Christmas bash over the past few years. Papa, Uncle Chee Peng, Weisheng and Qiuhao are good buddies since BMT days in 1997 (i.e. initial months of mandatory National Service; serving in Army @ Singapore). Wow, it has been more than 10 years!

We had a Christmas party @ eve at Uncle Quihao and Aunty Olivia’s house. Their designer house is very cosy with nice pictures hand-painted by Aunty Olivia.

Last Minute Christmas Shopping!

Papa! You gave me a fright again!

While Papa and Mama were busy doing their last minute shopping of Christmas gifts for relatives and friends, I was busy practising “Gong Xi! Gong Xi! wishes” for the upcoming Chinese New Year in Feb’08. Hehe…

Papa told me that I have to learn it so that I could wish my elders and get “Ang Bao” (i.e. red packets with money)! :P


Yeah! Finally, we are done! On our way home, we went pass Marina Mandarin Hotel, where Papa and Mama held their Wedding Banquet celebrations about two years ago. We can’t help but to take a family snap in the lobby. The "Pinky Family"!

Enqi’s First Christmas Present!

I have received my first Christmas present! Look at the stylish "long tights" that I got! Do you agree that it is very nice? Yeah! Thanks a lot…Lily and Catherine Jiejies!

It is actually long and thick baby warmers (socks) from “Baby Legs” that will keep me warm.

We had a celebration to celebrate Ah Gong’s lunar calendar Birthday last Sunday.

Enqi is a Brave Girl!

Enqi weighs 6.15 kg and 65cm tall already! Dr. Lillian Auntie said that I am very tall; over the 97 percentile for my age. Mama said that she will soon be the shortest person @ our lovenest. Hehe… Yeah! I have improved my weight to the 75 percentile. I must continue to "jia-you"(work harder)!

I took the second of the three jabs for the 6 in 1 vaccination today @ Kids Clinic. I am really glad that Papa was able to rush home during lunch time, to accompany Mama and I. I am a brave girl now! I did not even squeak when Dr Lillian Auntie made the injection on the right side of my little bumbum. :)

I felt very sleepy after the jab. Papa! Can we go home quickly so that I could have my beauty sleep?

Enqi Loves Playing with Mama!!!

Finally, Papa managed to upload the video clip of Enqi playing happily with Mama @ MacDonald last weekend. Hehe... Really glad to share with everyone. Have a nice coming weekend. Cheers... :)

Enqi’s New Playmat & Yellow Bumbo!

Mama bought for me a “Sweet Bear Bumper” playmat. It is imported from Korea and it is made with heavy duty, non-slip and non toxic soft PVC material. The padding and cushion ensure a safe play area for me.

Do you agreed with me that it’s so so sweet? Hehe…
It is also “reversible”. The other side has A-Z alphabets.

Yahoo! Mama managed to buy a new yellow colour Bumbo for me! Look at how satisfied I am!

I love playing with the “big cube”! Look at me, I am actually holding on to it! Arigato Uncle Chee Peng and Joey JieJie! It was a gift from them when we met up last weekend. :)
